EN-44602 Water Pump Holder

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure


1. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LDK/A20NHT) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LDK/A20NHT - AWD) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LBS/A20DTH) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LAU/A28NER) .

2. Remove the radiator outlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Outlet Pipe Replacement (LDK/A20NHT)

3. Remove the water pump cover. Refer to Water Pump Cover Replacement .

Note

With nonobservance it can come to a overstress of the timing chain and therefore for damages in components and noise objections.


Install the EN-44602 water pump holder (1).


• Tighten the EN-44602 water pump holder and rotate clockwise to tighten the water pump and balancer chain.

• Fix with EN-44602 water pump holder (1) the water pump sprocket (2).

5. Remove the 3 fasteners (1) from the water pump chain sprocket.


6. Remove the 4 fasteners (1) from the water pump.



Installation Procedure


1. Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the water pump and tighten the fasteners (1) to 23Nm (17 lb ft) .


2. Install the water pump sprocket and tighten the fasteners (1) to 8 Nm (71 lb in) .


3. Remove the EN-44602 water pump holder (1).

4. Install the water pump cover. Refer to Water Pump Cover Replacement .

5. Install the radiator outlet pipe. Refer to Radiator Outlet Pipe Replacement (LDK/A20NHT)

6. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (LDK/A20NHT) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LDK/A20NHT - AWD) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LBS/A20DTH) Catalytic Converter Replacement (LAU/A28NER) .


PRE-RELEASE
