| Removal Procedure |
| 1. |
Remove the charge air cooler outlet air tube. Refer to
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
.

| 2. |
Disconnect the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe quick connect fitting from the evaporative emission pipe. Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

|
| 3. |
Loosen the emission canister vent front pipe from all retainers.
|
|
| 4. |
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
|
|
| 5. |
Remove the drivetrain and front suspension frame support right side. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember Replacement (GNA) Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember Replacement (GNB) . |

| 6. |
Remove both AC evaporator thermal expansion valve heat and brake pipe shield fasteners (1).

| 7. |
Remove the fuel tank protector. Refer to
Fuel Tank Protector Replacement
.

| 8. |
Disconnect the evaporative emission canister purge pipe quick connect fitting (1) from the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe (3). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

| 9. |
Remove the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe from the 5 retainers (2).
|
|
| 10. |
With the aid of an assistant, remove the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe from the vehicle.
|
|
| Installation Procedure |
| 1. |
Ensure that the evaporative emission pipes and fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
|
|
| 2. |
With the aid of an assistant, install the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe to the vehicle.
|
|
| 3. |
Install the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe to the 5 retainers (2).
|
|
| 4. |
Connect the evaporative emission canister purge pipe quick connect fitting (1) to the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe (3). Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

| 5. |
Install the fuel tank protector. Refer to
Fuel Tank Protector Replacement
.
|
|
| 6. |
Install both AC evaporator thermal expansion valve heat and brake pipe shield fasteners (1).
|
|
| 7. |
Install the drivetrain and front suspension frame support right side. Refer to
Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember Replacement (GNA)
Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Front Crossmember Replacement (GNB)

| 8. |
Lower the vehicle.
|
|
| 9. |
Install the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe to all retainers.
|
|
| 10. |
Connect the evaporative emission canister vent front pipe quick connect fitting to the evaporative emission pipe. Refer to
Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
.

| 11. |
Install the charge air cooler outlet air tube. Refer to
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube Replacement
.
