Selector Lever Cable Adjustment

DT-527-A Adjuster

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

Removal Procedure

1.	Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

2.	Remove the gearshift cable from the gearshift retainer.

3.	Remove the gearshift cable (1) from bracket in the vehicle.

4.	Remove the gearshift cable (2) from the gearshift assembly.

5.	Remove the gearshift cable from the gearshift bracket. Pull the lock a cross the driving direction and lift up the gearshift cable.

6.	Remove the cable routing (3) from the dashboard and remove the gearshift cable.

Installation Procedure

1.	Install the cable. Install the cable routing (3) to the dashboard.

2.	Note Do not close the gearshift retainer. Install the gearshift cable to the gearshift bracket.

3.	Install the gearshift cable (2) to the gearshift assembly.

4.	Install the gearshift cable (1) to the bracket. Insert the gearshift cable, pull the lock a cross the driving direction and push it down.

5.	Install the gearshift cable to gearshift bracket into the vehicle.

6.	Adjustment gear cable. Refer to Selector Lever Cable Adjustment .
